Taiwan-chan... IN COLOR

Well, I finally colored the Taiwan Hetalia picture frolm all that time ago however I had to adjust the brightness from the original since the front of the paper used was a worksheet. I may have to re-alter it again.

OMFG... LAST AIRBENDER CARTOON SEQUAL IS REAL!!!

Oh my God, I am serious. The live-action version of the Last Airbender led to much dissapointment, hopefully there will be a director's cut or something, however there is an animated sequal to the original cartoon greenlighted by Nickelodeon!

Whther this new series is a response to the film's reception I don't know however it's giving a lot of fans what they've been waiting for, an animated sequal!! I'm so excitied and typing so fast that there maybe spelling errors so just ask me about it if something seems wrong.

According to the show's creators, Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, the story takes seventy years after the original series with two new characters confrimed Korra a southern water tribe girl, who maybe the new avatar, and a male character named Tenzin who is said to be Aang's son (Katarra is momma, maybe?)

well keep posted for the series it's hinted to air in 2011.

My Nora Manga is Complete

As of Thursday this week, my entire collection (not really actually, I cannot find vol. 3) of NORA: The Last Chroncile of Devildom by Kazunari Kakei is complete. The acutally story in volume 9 is shorter than the rest of the volumes and, I won't try to leave spoilers, the ending is kind of a cliffhanger T_T. I am glad that Viz Media got this title, I hope it gets an anime adaptation and I hope that it's sequal, SUREBREC - NORA the 2nd, gets liscensed as well. We will have to wait.




Also, there are extras after the main story which are the original short story of Nora; another one-shot by Kakei, in which a female character named Ririka Fudo bears a resemblance to the three girls, Frederica Bernkastel, Erika Furudo, and Rika Furde (all below) from the When They Cry series, not only namewise but also physically (somewhat).

FUNimation licenses Axis Powers Hetalia (Hetalia Axis Powers)

My first topic (which is rather early since I created my blog) is on the anime Hetalia Axis Powers.

A North American anime licensor and distributor called FUNimation, based somewhere in Texas, asquired the cute, epically hilarious, and somewhat stereotypical and politically suggestive anime series Hetalia Axis Powers.

The original series is based on a webcomic by Hidekaz Himaruya which is published by Gentosha Comics. Each anime episode parodies certain historic events and is about 5 minutes long and the ending songs are sung by the male characters. The songs consists of the characters calling their parents (in the country's native tounge) asking for a certain drink and food from the country.

FUNimation has acquired DVD and streaming rights to episodes 1 through 52 (seasons 1 and 2, the 3 has yet to be released). The sereis original appeared on T.V. in Japan but South Korean protestors called for an end to the show since the character representing South Korea was too "stereotyped".
The show was not cancelled, because South Korea had not made his appearance yet, however he can still be seen during the shows credit sequence. The original author also intended for him to appear but to due to protest scratched it.
The show no longer appears on T.V in Japan but is still streamed online and on cell phones.

Nevertheless, this show will be available in America now.
